Network is a 1976 American satirical black comedy–drama film about a fictional television network, UBS, and its struggle with poor ratings. Written by Paddy Chayefsky and directed by Sidney Lumet with cinematography by Owen Roizman.
The unusual camera angles, close-up shots, symmetry and composition adds to the sense of eeriness/uncanny feeling. The high contrast and creative lighting evokes emotion further.
